B5 S4 Franken Turbo. Tons of people run the RS4 clutch, including me. It will hold Stage III power depending on what you're doing. If you're launching and dumping the clutch no, it's not made to be a "racing" clutch. OK cool cheers, is there any oem brands i should look out for? Man, a little punctuation please, just to make it easier to understand. I'm running the RS4 clutch, it was put on about 40,mi ago when the car was stage 2, and its previous owner.

I'm now getting to the point where I'm starting to look for clutch's, however it is not slipping just getting a little worn down. I'm currently running a VAST custom 91 tune for stage 3- and it holds and more. Sorry I am not a stage 3 example, but for stage 3 its still a decent step up from stock clutch and will hold the power.

Quiet in the front, Loud in the back". I could just get this for a cheaper option with the rs4 pressure plate? Originally Posted by bigern No dumping the clutch for sure. Im looking into that VAST stage 4 kit now seems good. Im not trying to be cheap i just want it to be safe so i dont have to pull things to bits if i decide to put my foot down, im not been cheap, i have a engine ive built from top to bottom 1.

There is such as thing as safe power on an engine internals, for the clutch i will just get what i need instead of been overkill what i wouldnt use. OK maybe i read it a little wrong by you saying get a cheaper mode of transport, im after franken turbos i am not sure as yet to go with rs6 turbos i cant seem to find any place that sells them right now id be tempted to put rods in but unsure right now the engine runs fine.

I dont want to go out an buy a stage 35 clutch for example when theres no point i need a clutch asap its slipping now an im after doing flywheel at same time. Bookmarks Bookmarks Digg del. All times are GMT The time now is Audizine is not endorsed by or affiliated with Audi AG.
