Nissan finds itself at the close of in the box seat as the first D40 Navara dual cab from Europe which is a full size bigger, Nissan now.

Would anybody mind measuring the size of their tubs? I could do with both the d22 and d40 measurements, before I start to consider that I.

Pick up from rockbank west of melbourne Call damien on Nissan patrol navara , Toyota hilux lan. Electric gas hot water sysstems. Depending on your location can deliver or fit. We have one turbo diesel manual and thought it would be a good car for the bikes. It's all set up for long-term camping and touring.

Navara D40 twin cab tray length. Thinking of buying a D40 twin cab tdi auto Who here has one? Also can someone tell me the height from ground to bottom of the tailgate when down.

Mention if the car is standard suspenion height and tyre size. Thanks The length from the front of the tub to the end of the tailgate is mm. The height is from the ground, standard suspension 70 R16 tyres ie slightly bigger than standard but still legal on the standard rims.

Good ute, comfortable and rides well, done 95k with no problems. Mine is 4l petrol motor, auto, tons of grunt. I though long and hard about getting td but didn't want to trust 2. I spend a lot of time in traffic so wanted an auto. Fuel economy isn't the greatest but who gives a shit? I was a bit concerned about the weight on the tailgate hinges, more so the panel underneath that the hinges are mounted on, so I made a couple of channels out of 50mm angle that run the full length of the tray and tailgate and put the bikes in them, that way the weight of the back wheel is on the channel and not the tailgate.

Thanks for the info don. It appears Shrek contributed nothing as usual. Assuming he is buying new, he can now go in and say I'm aware of the various complaints about the car, but what i wanted was the info relevant to the questions. Zing and off goes the line and hook. Just stirring Shrek on the fact that Max thanked Don but wasn't interested in your post.

A mate has an 07 Model and it has cracked the welds between the front of the tray and the cab. Nissan told him its because he carries too much weight in the tray - a couple of labradors and a baby pram is the most it has really seen.

They then back pedaled and told him it was the ARB canopy he put on and its weight. When this first happened it was 12 months old and 20,kms. Also had the brake rotor drama.

He is waiting to finish Salary Sacrifice and he is getting rid of it. The rotors may have been technically undersize but they weren't going to fall apart. Just didn't go to a Nissan dealer. The biggest problem I had was no fault of the car, someone named Abdul turned left into me from the right hand side, must have forgotten he wasn't driving a camel: We have one turbo diesel manual and thought it would be a good car for the bikes.

Until we tried to get both bikes up! Its a pretty steep incline to get your bikes up, so we just use the trailer. Its ok for one bike and it will fit 2, but you need to be hercules to get them up there on your own!

We are coming up 10,ks now and the fuel economy is getting better and better the more the motor wears in. I've got one too, 06 stx diesel auto and its just clicked over , Its only really had one problem and that was the turbo flogging out about 80, and it was fixed under warranty as it should be. A lot of new cars have quite soft rotors now days as it apparently improves brake performance compared to the old longer lasting ones of the past.
