No code at first, then misfire code. Great design, both interior and exterior. I need more tape. This recall partially supersedes recall 14V in that model year Mazda6 vehicles covered by that recall are now covered by this campaign.

Rattle was rusted heatshield on catalytic converter. Catalytic converter replaced under warranty. Code check indicated engine misfire.

Rough start first time after vacation. No other indications of a misfire since that time. Replaced coil boots and the engine is smooth. Mechanic replaced spark plugs as well. Replaced 3 rear coil packs, MAF, new intake gasket, etc This helped alot, but did not resolve the issue completely.

No oil noticeable on garage floor. Vehicle was brought to mechanic and vehicle needed new front and rear main seals and oil pan gaskets. Decided to sell vehicle.

Higher RPMs did not have problems. OBD reading said error code was P and P, which means engine banks 1 and 2 are too lean. I used cleaner on the MAF and replaced sorta cracked intake. Turned out to be cracked PCV hose by firewall. Add fuel system cleaner. Check engine light was on. ECU code says bank 1 and 2 are lean and cylinder 5 misfire. Found PCV elbow hose is cracked. Replaced and engine idles better. Goes away as car is driven. Heat shield was rusted, hitting exhaust.

Garage removed Heat shield. Wasn't getting a blowjob so it was something else. Used incense stick to find source of leak, then to relax. Found source of leak, cause was a tight c clamp that deteriorated a hose along the pinch. I need more tape. The radiator was bone dry. Had to replace the clip and refill the coolant. No other issues found. All had to be replaced along with new idler tensioner.

Intermittent at first, then got worse. No code at first, then misfire code. First diagnosed as ignition coil, then fuel pump. Led to lean burn fault. Just after I replace coils and plugs. Replaced fouled spark plug, ignition coil, and O2 sensor. CEL light came on again after 3 days nothing more to replace other than pre-cat. I supplied the replacement cat and paid labor for the shop to install. Another part air intake hose?

Diagnosed and had MAF sensor replaced. Replaced and was as good as new. Have no proof of who did the last oil change so I had to eat the cost. Indicated B2S2 oxygen sensor is bad. Chose not to repair at this time. Also had brakes checked - OK. The engine runs like brand new now. No misfires at near max speed. Potentially due to an incorrect installation of engine gaskets at a previous time the car was repaired before I owned it. But it is not so bad that it is dripping on floor. I'm monitoring oil level monthly.

The squealing is still around, but not as bad as before. Car stalls while driving. Cylinder 1 too lean, cylinder 4 rich; random multi-cyclinder misfire. Engine work done before I bought it I found out when I took it to Mazda dealer. Will need new engine. Also replaced bypass hose as it was swollen.
